Kaganfindel Sporran

Once I had myself a big fancy belt, the need for a similarly fancy belt pouch became apparent. This one is made from veg tan leather in various weights from 6 to ~14 oz., with a button carved out of cherry.

I'm trying something new with the closure on this one - instead of drawing the cord down behind the button, I made a button with a grooved rim at the top to hold the cord and sewed it on flush, so that the cord sits on the top of the button. Pressing gently on the cover flap releases the tension on the cord so I can open it with one hand.
